Ascension with Ashley

My Story

From Abandonment to Awakening

01 — The Beginning

For as long as I can remember, I felt different.

I was deeply sensitive and energetically aware before I even had language for it. I could feel the energy in a room, sense what other people were feeling, and know when something was off without anyone saying a word.

But instead of learning how to understand that sensitivity, I learned how to survive through it.

Growing up, I carried a deep abandonment and father wound. I never felt fully seen, chosen, or accepted for who I was, and somewhere along the way I began believing that love was something I had to earn.

So I became the one who overgave.

The one who tried harder.

The one who became what everyone else needed.

And underneath all of it was a child who desperately wanted to feel safe, loved, and enough.

That wound eventually followed me into my relationships.

Without realizing it, I was searching for love outside of myself to heal what had never been healed within me. I confused being chosen with being worthy. I over-functioned, saw potential instead of reality, abandoned my own needs, and often mistook emotional intensity for love.

02 — THE AWAKENING

Eventually, my pain brought me back to God.

During a season of deeply questioning my life and searching for truth, I began praying for undeniable guidance.

And something within me opened.

My intuition became stronger. My clairsentience, clairaudience, and clairvoyance expanded rapidly. I became increasingly aware of energy, spiritual guidance, angels, and a world beyond what I could physically see.

It was beautiful, but it was also overwhelming.

For years, I didn't fully understand my gifts or know how to integrate them into my life. At times I suppressed them because I felt different or misunderstood.

But the gifts never left.

Neither did the wounds underneath them.

Before we can truly help others heal, we have to be willing to meet the places within ourselves that are still asking to be healed.

That lesson became very real through my relationship with the father of my children.

I entered that relationship still carrying many of the same unconscious patterns overgiving, over-functioning, minimizing myself, and trying to create safety by becoming everything I believed someone else needed me to be.

03 — THE INITIATION

What felt like a breaking point became the beginning of my deepest healing.

After becoming a mother to twins, the relationship eventually ended in a way that activated my deepest abandonment wound.

Suddenly, I was faced with everything I had spent years trying not to feel.

Abandonment.

Betrayal. Rejection.

Fear. Lack of self-worth.

The need for approval.

The fear of being alone.

What initially felt like the breaking point of my life became the beginning of my deepest healing.

In that season, it became me and God.

I began turning inward instead of constantly searching outside of myself for answers. I started healing the inner child who had spent a lifetime believing she needed to earn love.

I learned to regulate my nervous system. I began recognizing the patterns that had kept me attached to unhealthy relationships. I rebuilt my self-worth. I learned boundaries. I stopped confusing self-abandonment with love.

04 — THE RETURN

As I healed, my spiritual connection deepened too.

My intuition became clearer. My gifts strengthened. My connection with God expanded, and I began understanding how my intuitive abilities could be used in service of something greater.

I began working more deeply with my intuitive gifts and spiritual guidance, including the Archangels, to help illuminate the energetic and emotional roots beneath what we experience on the surface.

I started seeing clearly that so much of what keeps us stuck - whether in relationships, repeating emotional patterns, our sense of purpose, or other areas of life - can be connected to deeper core wounds, subconscious beliefs, unprocessed emotions, energetic attachments, and parts of ourselves that are still asking to be seen and healed.

And suddenly, my life made sense differently.

The heartbreaks.

The relationships.

The abandonment.

The sensitivity I once wished I could turn off.

The spiritual awakening I didn't initially understand.

None of it had been wasted. It had all been leading me back to myself.

I no longer see my story as something that broke me. I see it as the path that awakened me.

05 — MY WORK TODAY

This is why I created Ascension with Ashley.

Today, through Ascension with Ashley, I help empaths, sensitive souls, and people healing from toxic or unhealthy relationship dynamics understand what is really keeping them stuck beneath the surface.

My approach blends emotional healing, nervous-system awareness, inner-child and core-wound work, intuitive guidance, energetic healing, spiritual connection, and practical coaching.

Using my intuitive gifts and, when aligned with the client, guidance through the Archangels, I help bring awareness to deeper patterns and blockages so we can begin addressing the root - not simply managing what is appearing on the surface.

I help people understand why they repeat certain relationship patterns, why they struggle to let go, where they learned to abandon themselves, and what needs to shift so they can create healthier relationships with themselves, with others, and with God.

Because I know what it feels like to lose yourself trying to be loved. To overgive. To see everyone else's potential while forgetting your own. To mistake chaos for connection. To search outside yourself for something only healing could give you.

But I also know what it feels like to rise. To heal. To awaken. To trust yourself again. And to finally come home to who you were always meant to be.

Not because I simply learned about healing. Because I lived it.

My mission is to help you turn your pain into wisdom, your wounds into power, and the experiences that once kept you stuck into the doorway toward your highest self.
